PRICES

All prices are in United States Dollars and are per person based on two persons sharing a room, unless otherwise indicated. All prices are subject to increase due to any increase in our costs, such as, but not limited to: increases in air, land or sea fares, fuel cost, entrance fees and currency fluctuations. All taxes, fuel surcharges, security charges and any other taxes or charges imposed by airlines, airports, cruise lines, government, etc. are not included in the price.

RESERVATIONS AND PAYMENTS

Deposit and Full Payment
A non-refundable deposit of $200 per person is required within 7 days of booking. The balance is due 45 days before departure. If you have selected instant purchase, non refundable air, you are required to pay the full air cost in addition to the $200 deposit at time of booking (all of which is non-refundable). If we do not receive final payment by the due date, we reserve the right to cancel the booking and retain your full deposit. We are not responsible for canceled land or air bookings in the event payment is not received by the final payment date. Deposit amounts, deposit and/or full payment deadlines for certain programs like travel programs during trade fair or holiday periods or special events may be different; these will be notified to you during booking.
Form of Payment
Payments may be made by major credit cards, checks, wire transfers or money orders. Credit card charges by phone will be accepted for the deposit payment when the card holder is one of the guests in the booking. Completion of TransEurope Tours Credit Card Form is required for final payment when paying with credit card.

CHANGES AND CANCELLATIONS

Booking Changes
Land Tours and Services
Name changes are allowed at no fee until 45 days before departure. $50 fee, in addition to any rate differences, applies for all other booking changes made before 45 days of departure. Any changes within 45 days prior to tour departure will be treated as a cancellation and new booking, and normal cancellation fees will apply.
Air tickets and Cruises
Any booking and itinerary changes in air ticket and cruise bookings are subject to conditions and penalties imposed by the airlines and cruiselines. Any changes will risk the loss of air or cruise space or increased fares. Name changes and corrections are subject to full cancellation and rebooking.
Cancellations
Cancellations must be made in writing to TransEurope Tours. Below listed per person cancellation fees on the date that the written cancellation is received will apply.
Land tours & cruises
  • Upto 46 days prior to departure: Non-refundable deposit will be retained
  • 45-22 days prior to departure: 50% of total price
  • 21 days or less prior to departure: 100% of total price
  • Bookings during trade fair or holiday periods and special events may carry additional penalties and will be advised at booking.
    Air tickets
    After ticketing, service fee $30.00 per person plus any airline imposed penalties, which may be up to 100% of the air ticket value. To protect against cancellation charges, we strongly recommend purchasing TransEurope Travel Insurance.

    TRAVEL INSURANCE

    We strongly recommend that all guests take out comprehensive travel insurance to protect in cases of unforeseeable events causing trip cancellation, interruption and delay.

    AIRLINE ARRANGEMENTS

    Air fares from the U.S. to the destination and back are not included in the Land price, unless specifically indicated.We will be happy to provide air transportation based on the lowest applicable airfares on participating carriers. You may also arrange your air ticket through your Travel Agent. In cases of tour cancellation or itinerary changes, TransEurope Tours is not liable for any change or cancellation penalties for air tickets not purchased through TransEurope Tours.

    HOTELS

    Rooms are standard twin and/or double-bedded rooms with private bath or shower and will be assigned by the respective supplier/s on a run-of-the-house basis. We reserve the right to substitute hotels of similar category. Triple rooms consist of standard twin beds plus a roll-away bed or cot for third person and may not be comfortable for three adults. Single rooms in European hotels are generally smaller than twin-bedded rooms and European hotel standards, facilities and services provided may vary from those in the U.S. Special room requests such as handicapped, smoking/non-smoking, adjacent, connecting or lower-floor rooms must be requested at time of booking, can not be guaranteed and are subject to availability. Frequent Traveler points are not awarded by the hotels in hotel stays in tours and vacation packages.

    MEALS

    Meals for each tour are included as stated on itinerary; they are based on hotel’s or restaurant’s buffet or set menu and exclude drinks, unless specified. Special meals and entertainment are included as shown in the itinerary.

    NOT INCLUDED IN TOUR PRICE

    Airfares to and from your destination, except where specified, airport and port taxes and fees; any taxes and fees; imposed by governmental bodies, passport and visa fees; airline baggage fees, insurances of all kinds; tips to Tour Directors, motorcoach drivers, local city guides and cruise staff; gratuities on ferries, trains and cruise ships; porterage at airports and train stations; laundry, phone calls, minibar, beverages, meals not detailed in the itinerary and foods outside the TransEurope Tours contracted menu (these extra items will be billed to you before leaving the hotel, ship, or restaurant); optional excursions; and all items of a personal nature. The tour price also does not cover costs and expenses, including the return to your home, if you leave the tour at your own volition or due to illness, or as a consequence of official action by the government of any country visited.

    UNUSED TOUR ITEMS

    No refunds or credits will be made for any unused accommodations, missed meals, transportation segments, cruise portions, sightseeing tours or any other service.

    TRAVELLERS REQUIRING SPECIAL ASSISTANCE

    Passengers with disabilities are welcome on TransEurope tours provided they are accompanied by a companion capable of providing all necessary assistance, and do not require special assistance from TransEurope Tours personnel. Any disabilities requiring special needs must be notified to TransEurope Tours during booking and TransEurope Tours will make reasonable attempts to accommodate these special needs, but is not responsible in the event it is unable to do so nor is it responsible for any denial of services by air carriers, hotels, restaurants, or other independent suppliers.

    YOUNG TRAVELERS

    Travelers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.TransEurope Tours welcomes children of 5 year of age and older in escorted tours. We recommend private tours for families with children younger than 5 years.

    TOUR PARTICIPATION

    TransEurope Tours reserves the right to accept or reject or remove, in sole opinion of TransEurope Tours acting in good faith, any tour member whose health, mental or physical condition or conduct is considered to be incompatible with the interests of other tour members. TransEurope Tours is not responsible for any expenses incurred by a tour member in such a case.

    ITINERARY/SCHEDULE CHANGES

    We reserve the right, in our discretion, to substitute carrier, aircraft, charter flight for scheduled flight, cruise line, and to alter the itinerary, substitute portions of the sightseeing, ports of call, entertainment, hotels, restaurants, party and banquet locations, or other accommodations For flights, cruises and cruise portions of tours, TransEurope Tours is subject to operating decisions of the cruiselines and airlines.

    NON-OPERATION OF ESCORTED TOUR

    TransEurope Escorted tour, unless indicated as guaranteed departure, require enrollment a minimum number of guests for operation.TransEurope Tours reserves the right to cancel or re-schedule any tour departure that does not meet its minimum enrollment criteria or in accordance with operating requirements. If cancellation is made any time prior to departure of the tour, TransEurope's only liability will be to refund to the passenger the amount it has received for the tour booking. TransEurope will try to re-book the same or similar tour and, where flights have been confirmed by TransEurope, will attempt to confirm air seats for new dates selected, subject to availability. Please note that TransEurope is not liable for any travel arrangements affected and any cancellation penalties incurred on any other travel arrangements not made by TransEurope Tours.

    CANCELLATIONS AND PROGRAM CHANGES DUE TO CARRIERS

    TransEurope Tours is not liable for any program changes and extra costs incurred due to cancellations, schedule changes and delays of transportation carriers like airlines, cruiselines, ferry lines, or due to any other reasons beyond its control. Guests are strongly recommended to purchase travel insurance for coverage in such cases .

    SMOKING

    Smoking is not allowed on coaches, ships, mini-buses or vans. However, regular stops are scheduled for those who wish to smoke.

    VISAS & PASSPORTS

    A passport valid for at least six months after date of return to the U.S. is required for all programs, both for U.S. citizens and non-U.S. citizens. All passengers are responsible for ensuring that they have all proper travel documents and MUST CHECK with the respective consulate(s) or visa agency to determine any visa or any other requirements. TransEurope Tours cannot accept liability for any passenger refused entry onto any transport or into any country due to failure of the passenger to carry correct documentation.

    BAGGAGE

    Due to limited baggage area on buses coaches, each guest is requested to limit luggage to one suitcase and one small carry-on bag which can fit under the bus seats. Airlines may impose separate policies for luggage. Please check with your airline(s) directly for baggage regulations and related fees. All baggage and personal effects are at all times and in all circumstances at the risk of the guest; baggage insurance is highly recommended.

    HOLIDAYS

    During local or national holidays or special occasions, certain facilities such as museums, churches, restaurants, sightseeing tours, and shopping may be limited or not available. Alternatives will be offered whenever possible.

    RESPONSIBILITY

    Magic USA Inc, operating under the DBA TransEurope Tours, its employees, shareholders, subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, directors, successors, agents, and assigns (collectively "TransEurope Tours"), does not own or operate any entity which provides accommodation, transportation, restaurant, local ground operator, and other services for your trip. All such persons and entities are independent contractors. As a result, TransEurope Tours is not liable for any negligent or willful act or failure to act of any such person or entity or of any third party.

    TransEurope Tours signs on motor vehicles, at hotels or elsewhere are only for identification purposes and do not denote ownership, supervision, or control by TransEurope Tours in any way. In addition and without limitation, TransEurope Tours is not responsible for any injury, loss, death, inconvenience, delay, damage to person or property or extra expenses in connection with the provision of any goods or services whether resulting from, but not limited to, acts of God or force majeure, illness, disease, acts of war or civil unrest, insurrection or revolt, animals, strikes or other labor activities, criminal or terrorist activities of any kind, overbooking or downgrading of accommodations, mechanical or other failure of airplanes or other means of transportation, or for any failure of any transportation mechanism to arrive or depart on time. Passengers are additionally responsible for complying with the terms, conditions or requirements of any service provider, or any country or governmental authorities, or for bearing any costs or losses incurred as a consequence of not complying with them. In the case of computer or human billing error we reserve the right to re-invoice passengers with correct billing. TransEurope Tours is not responsible for omissions, printing and/or typographical errors, in brochures, on Internet sites correspondence or invoices or in any other media where such information may be presented. We reserve the right to make corrections as required. The terms and conditions listed remain in effect until replaced. These terms and conditions replace all previous versions. The payment of a deposit and or/the issuance of tickets or vouchers shall be deemed your consent to the terms and conditions as presented herein.
